Be sure to get your announcements to the church office (email: stfrancis.somerset@verizon.net) by 4 pm on Thursday for inclusion in Sunday's bulletin.
The nominating committee has released the preliminary slate for the Bishop election. A copy of the slate is on the bulletin board in the parish hall. These are exciting and important times in our life together as a Diocese! We ask that you pray everyday for the candidates & for the special electing convention. Please note the time and location for the District IV walk-about visitation with the candidates is Friday, March 23 at 6:30 pm at St Michael’s in the Valley in Ligonier. All are encouraged to attend.
This Tuesday, February 7 at 7 pm the ECW will meet. Our own Fr. Lenny & Kelly will do a brief presentation on Anglican prayer beads with a short workshop actually making Anglican Rosaries! A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the parish hall. Please sign up if you would like to make a set of Anglican prayer beads. You are welcome to attend the meeting even if you do not wish to make prayer beads.
There is a VBS planning meeting on Thursday, February 23 at 7 pm at St. Paul’s UCC. All participants are encouraged to attend.
You are always welcome to join us for weekday prayer at 4 pm Tue. - Fri. During the cold, snowy winter months many days we pray in the rectory to avoid having to turn on the heat in the church nave.
